On Friday 9th November we held our annual Remembrance ceremony. Students, staff and some parents from St. Stephen’s Khao Yai and Year 7 students and their staff from St. Stephen’s Bangkok were present. Bin and Flint from Year 6 read pieces of their war writing from this week and Sky from Year 8 read a very moving personal account from a soldier. After a piece of poetry read by Dr Kevin the whole school listened to the last post played by Mr Geoffrey and spent two minutes in respectful silence, reflecting and remembering. Every student wrote their own messages on poppies that they had made that week and these were dropped from Block B as the last post was played. The poppies and their messages can now be seen in the corridor by reception and on the front message board.
