Instrumental Taster Day (TH)

On Friday 21st August, students in Years 5 to 13 had the opportunity to try out some of the orchestral instruments on which the school offers lessons. Ms Kelly, our Head of Music and Drama along with Ms Celia (Head of Primary Music), and Mr Tu (Strings teacher) worked with groups of ten to fifteen students at each of the instrument stations. Students learned some basic techniques on instruments such as the violin, cello, trumpet, french horn, flute, clarinet and saxophone. Many were very enthusiastic and found the event very enjoyable and a number of students showed great musical potential.
