Dorm students are supervised  and cared for 24 hours per day when staying in the boarding accommodation.  During the normal school day teachers and other teaching staff provide the ongoing supervision.  After the extended school day has completed the dorm team are responsible for the care and supervision of the boarding students who stay in the school accommodation.

The dorm staff or dorm parents are the students second family.  They will look after the child’s welfare and wellbeing in the absence of the parent and will communicate any issues both to the academic staff in school and the parents at home. The dorm parents are the first port of call for dorm students to go to when they need any help. 

There is always at least one male and on female dorm parent on duty in the dorms out of the day school hours and in addition a nurse is always on duty if needed.
