On Thursday 30th May, Year 5 had a wonderful morning at the beautiful Khao Yai Art Museum. After having a good look through galleries A, B, and C, each student selected their favourite piece of art and answered some questions about the colours used, their interpretation of the art, and the emotions they felt. Then they enjoyed some cold drinks at the lovely cafe while taking in the view of the mountains. After a quick stop at the gift shop, they took a stroll through the gardens to the pond and admired the amazing outdoor sculptures. They had a chance to see many paintings in the styles that they had studied in their IPC unit ‘They See the World Like This’, including impressionism, cubism, abstract, and watercolours.
