Year 3 IPC Entry Point - Chocolate

Y3 had a fantastic entry point to their IPC topic ‘Chocolate’. They did several experiments linked to the 5 senses. There was blindfold testing to see whether they can taste the difference between dark, milk and white chocolate. Other tests included how quickly chocolate melts, whether chocolate can make a noise, whether you can taste chocolate if you can’t smell and the difference between sweet and savoury tastes. The children all brought their favourite chocolate to share with the class and Ms Michelle shared some chocolate all the way from England! The children liked the Thai chocolate the best!
