Art outside - Rainforest

Last Friday, we enjoyed a lovely Art session outside. The students experienced how light shines through the forest trees and how shadows and new colour tones appear when leaves overlap. We also pointed out the different shapes of the leaves. To distinguish a transparant from a nontransparent object we looked at the sun shining through the leaves and compared this to two students standing behind each other." data-share-imageurl="">

To distinguish a transparant from a nontransparent object we looked at the sun shining through the leaves and compared this to two students standing behind each other. We started of our 'Rainforest Patterns' watercolour project by tracing the shapes of the leaves.
