Year 5 went to the Bonanza Zoo

On Wednesday 4 December Year 5 went to the Bonanza Zoo as part of their ‘Being Human’ IPC unit. They were able to compare and contrast animal abilities to human abilities. On this beautiful, sunny day they had a great chance to get an up-close look at the bone structure of the giraffe. There was a competition to see who could sketch the most accurate giraffe skeleton. They enjoyed feeding the horses, pigs, deer and alpacas. A great day was had by all.
