On Saturday 2 February the dorm students, accompanied by Mr Tui and Dr Kevin took a trek through the jungle of Khao Yai National Park. Many of the trees were amazing and clearly very ancient. We saw evidence of elephants, heard lots of wild-life and looked carefully at a giant ants next in the tree. One group saw a family of gibbons swinging from the trees whilst the other group were amazed to see the rarest of all Khao Yai animals, the critically endangered Siamese crocodile. After a tiring walk everyone enjoyed lunch and shopping for souvenirs at the Visitor Centre.
