Secondary Community Service Day 24 June 2024
The secondary students took part in community service at the Forest Tree Seed Center in Muaklek on Tuesday 24 June. The senior students who have been taking military service led the activities, which included fence painting, tree identification and labelling, planting saplings and a zero-waste litter pickup. They all also learned about the conservation processes of seed cryopreservation and propagation methods including tissue culture research. The students then donated a bench to the Center. Following this the students spent a couple of hours clearing paths, and collecting excess water weed at the Chet Sao Noi national park.
