KS3 residential trip to Kanchanaburi

On the week of 24 April, Year 8 and Year 9 students attended a five day residential trip to Kanchanaburi. A variety of activities were offered over the course of the week and students extended their learning far beyond the classroom walls of St Stephen’s. Students visited a number of sites, including the bridge on the river Kwai, Erawan waterfall, Hellfire Pass and the Death railway museum.  There were also opportunities to participate in activities such as stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and hiking. These opportunities were taken enthusiastically by students and staff. We hope students enjoyed trying new things, meeting new people and making lifelong memories.
