International Day of Older Persons Visit

On Saturday 28 September our dorm students delivered eighteen bags of clothes along with snack food and drinks for the residents at the Tubkwang Homeless Shelter in Saraburi. Our students chatted with some of the residents. The lady called Wi in the photograph below spoke to several of the students in very clear English and told them a little of her life story as she was educated for three years in America. Our students were good ambassadors for our school and represented their families well showing compassion and respect to these older people. This was particularly timely as 1 October is recognized by the United Nations as the International Day of Older Persons. This year the theme is “The Journey to Age Equality”.
