Year 8 students investigated the relationship between density and uplift, and volume and uplift, during their science class today. Each group had a set of six materials, but with different volumes per group. Students were required to measure mass, volume, and calculate density. They determined weight of the objects in air, versus submerged in water, to calculate upthrust. Exemplary teamwork was displayed by the groups today. Well done Year 8.
