On Saturday 30 April, SISKY dorm students endeavored to build a water-race-worthy raft from hollow tubes, rope, and water bottles for flotation. Student teams designed and crafted five remarkable feats of engineering in the field with a stress-inducing time limit. The completed crafts were carried to the pool where teams raced each other using hands as paddles and feet as rudders. The clearly winning team captain, Teng, shuttled students across the pool with grace and valor. It was a wonderful day of creativity, collaboration, and competition. Well done, Dorm Students!
