Second Chance Bangkok

Year Five presented its community partner, Second Chance Bangkok, a cheque of 20,000 baht recently. The tremendous amount was raised during two key events. Back in February, pupils and parents participated in the Primary Walkathon, gaining sponsorship for each completed lap. The Year Fives were extremely successful and managed to walk 397 laps in total! 
Last month during ECO Week, the year group organised a Swap Shop of donated goods in the Pavillion and managed to clear out the majority of the items. What remained was presented to Second Chance Bangkok where the items will be sold at their second-hand shop as well as being part of upcycling projects in order to assist the needy in the Khlong Toei area of the city.
