The Magic Toy Maker

To end their IPC topic 'The Magic Toy Maker' the Year 1 children opened up their very own 'Magic Toyshops' in their classrooms. The children invited their families to the grand opening of their toy shops to 'buy' the amazing toys and games they had created throughout the term. The children used their own ideas to design and create their own board games, junk toys and amazing marble runs. The customers were given play money and the children used the skills they have been learning in Maths to add values and give change. It was a great way to end the term and begin the Christmas Holiday.
