Exploration of light and shadows

Year 3 students embarked on a fun and exciting exploration of light and shadows using a simple flashlight. They investigated how light interacts with various materials to understand concepts such as transparency, translucency, and opacity. By shining the flashlight through different materials, students observed the shadows cast and discovered which materials effectively blocked light. This hands-on experiment not only illuminated the properties of light but also encouraged critical thinking and scientific inquiry as students predicted and tested the outcomes.
