Year 6 stepped into the Chemistry laboratory

Year 6, 6JT stepped into the Chemistry laboratory with one aim, to separate sand, salt and iron filings from a given mixture. After having had a discussion in their group on how to approach the task at hand, they all got busy and started putting their plan into action. All the five groups managed at the end of the practical session to successfully obtain iron filings, sand and crystals of salt. Well done to class 6JT.
