Year 5 visited MOCA

The Year 5 pupils visited the nearby Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) as part of their Entry Point for their new IPC unit, 'They See the World Like This'. As this unit explores the modern art movements and the pioneers who created new artistic techniques, the trip was a great opportunity for the children to explore the local art scene. During the excursion, everybody had a worksheet to complete where they had to choose their favourite art piece and analyse it. The children represented the school brilliantly and all look forward to unleashing their artistic skills over the next few weeks.
