Year 5 students visited Second Chance Bangkok

The pupils of Year 5 recently visited their community partner Second Chance Bangkok in Khlong Toei. This was a valuable opportunity for the children to learn about the charity organisation and what it does for the local community - often - some of the most underprivileged in Bangkok society. Reinforcing the three Rs - reduce, reuse, recycle - the children saw firsthand how events such as the upcoming Swap Shop can help with sustainability. The children enjoyed upcycling their t-shirts into reusable bags and made magnets from metal bottle caps.
