Year 4 Thanksgiving Assembly

For Primary Assembly, Year 4 KS gave a presentation about Thanksgiving. This is a traditional holiday in America that takes place on the fourth Thursday of November each year. Thanksgiving Day can be traced back to 1621, where pilgrims in Plymouth thanked the local Native American tribe for their help in growing crops by holding a special feast in their honour. The 4KS students acted out the journey that the pilgrims took in search of religious freedom, and then considered what they are thankful for in their lives.
