Year 10 Thai Trip to National Museum

The Thai Department accompanied Year 10 students to the Bangkok National Museum. They learned about Thai history from the Sukhothai to the Rattanakosin periods. The Wang Na historical sites were particularly interesting; they included the Phutthaisawan Throne Hall, the shrine house of Phra Buddha Sihing image, Sala Longsong Pavilion, and the Throne Hall of Somdej Phra Pinkhlao. Students saw many interesting displays on the history of Thai fine arts, including traditional musical instruments, ceramics, clothing and textiles.
