Year 1 Bird Feeders

Year 1 designed and made some bird feeders as part of their Our World topic. The students first discussed the importance of birds and how they could help keep birds safe and healthy. They used their knowledge of recycling to choose some reusable materials, and then designed a unique bird feeder. Finally they put their bird feeders together, filled them with bird feed and put them out in the trees for the birds to enjoy!
