World Book Week 2021

A highlight of Book Week for the whole school was the character parade, in which students from Nursery to Year 13 dressed up as characters from books they have read. The variety of costumes was outstanding, with a mixture of those made at home and those off the shelf. There were many individual characters, as well as groups of students who came dressed in a theme. It has become clear over the last week that books and reading play a big part in the lives of students at St. Stephen's,  validating the quote by Stephen King that;  'Books are a uniquely portable magic.'
