Workshops to create music

Students have been taking workshops on the different ways we can create music, by selecting to use traditional instruments to perform, or to write their own piece of music using music technology, or to use objects around the house to create a piece of music. Here are a few examples of the work that they have submitted.

Fay Y8 - Selected to perform in the 'Traditional' category, Performing Divertimento - Steibelt on the Violin

Gundam Y9 - Selected to perform in the 'Traditional' category, performing a 'Pirates of the Caribbean Medley' on the Piano.

Mai Y8 - Selected to perform in the 'Technology' category, using a mixture of performance and composition to create her own cover version mashup of several songs.

Penny Y9 - Selected to perform in the 'Creative' category, using objects around her house to create an original piece of music.
