On 3rd October, our Year 11 students visited Wat Phrabat Nam Phu AIDS Hospice. They asked numerous questions during the initial talk, demonstrating their desire to understand this disease and its consequences. Being able to ask questions in a public forum (something that can be challenging for many students) is a very important skill and our students impressed with the quality of questions that they asked. The Hospice is one of our Community Partners and the school donated money yesterday, however, more importantly, many of our students were moved to donate their own money to help this charity in its mission. I am very proud of all of them, whether they donated money or not; a hospice is not an easy place to visit and yesterday they demonstrated maturity and compassion.
