This week the primary school children competed in a house Spelling Bee competition during lunchtime. They worked really hard to spell 40 very tricky words. The year six house captains chose the words and acted as judges at the two competitions. The competitors were placed into groups and had to spell one word at a time, whoever misspelled a word was knocked out of the competition. The level was very high and a lot of students got all the words correct. We will have an extra tie breaker Spelling Bee on Friday for the Year 2s. The children had great fun learning new words and earned a lot of points for their Houses. It was fantastic to see such a high number of students taking part
