Up in Space

In Reception recently we had a wonderful time travelling 'Up in Space'. The children showed great enthusiasm and creativity throughout this topic. They used their artistic skills, and a variety of resources, to make rockets, UFOs, aliens, planets, and entire models of the Solar System. We read books and watched videos about space, where the children listened carefully and gave informed and thoughtful answers. We were particularly impressed with the children's writing, with some choosing to design and write about their own planet. Well done Reception.
