Nov 14 2022

Remembrance Day, also known as Poppy Day is a commemoration which pays respect and tribute to all those who have lost their lives or been injured during armed conflicts since the First World War (Great War) came to an end with the signing of the Armistice on 11 November 1918 at 11:00.The First World War officially ended with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on 28 June 1919.
On Sunday, Head Students Rainna and Beck laid a wreath of poppies on behalf of the St. Stephen's Community at the War Memorial located in the grounds of the British Club, Bangkok. This annual event is the opportunity for the Bangkok community to reflect on wars past and present, in the hope that future generations can seek peaceful resolutions over armed conflict.
