A mandatory requirement for AS Level Chemistry

Being able to carry out a full practical investigation in two hours is a mandatory requirement for AS Level Chemistry, so the Year 12 AS students were learning how to carry out practicals skillfully and safely. They observed the techniques necessary to carry out Qualitative Analysis, how to make accurate observations and the correct format to record results precisely. They then used a Data Table to work out the identity of the ions present in the three unknown compounds.
