The Mandarin courses in Early Years and Primary

The Mandarin course in Early Years aims to build a comfortable and joyful learning environment for students, so as to encourage and attract children to speak Mandarin in the class. Every day children will have a chance to learn Mandarin language and experience some different cultures in our school.

The Mandarin course in the Primary school aims to give students a good foundation for future study. In Key Stage1, students will learn the basic knowledge such as Pinyin and Chinese writing strokes. In Key stage2, students will learn vocabulary and Chinese characters based on common topics, and will practise reading and writing in Mandarin.

幼儿园的中文课程主要是给予孩子们一个轻松有趣的学习环境，让孩子们在富有趣味的课堂里练习听说。孩子们每天都有中文课可以学习语言，并体验不同的文化。

小学的中文课程主要是为了将来打好基础。在第一阶段学习中，学生们会掌握汉语拼音、笔画等基础知识；第二阶段学生们会依照剑桥考试中心的大纲，学习不同的话题，并将更加关注中文汉字的读写。
