St. Stephen’s celebrated its annual Loy Krathong day on Monday, November 27th, offering a delightful experience filled with enchanting performances, including Rabam Gai, Ramwong, and Khon, the classical masked dance.
Following these captivating performances, our students immersed themselves in creative morning activities. These included making banana leaf cups, making Khon paper masks, actively engaging in the hands-on creation of traditional Thai desserts, participating in Thai children’s games, and enjoying a cinematic experience in a local outdoor cinema atmosphere. The celebration concluded with students posing for class photos against the enchanting backdrop of Loy Krathong.
It was inspiring to see the unity and cultural pride on display as both students and teaching staff embraced the occasion, wearing vibrant Thai costumes. The school grounds buzzed with lively energy as everyone actively participated in the Loy Krathong activities.
