Drama Workshop

St Stephen's were delighted to work alongside Cian Green this week as he visited school for his third consecutive year. Mr Cian, a director, actor and musician, delivered an engaging and energetic workshop with KS3 students. Aspects of slapstick, mime, preparing for performance and Commedia dell'arte were explored to enrich Drama learning and as a tool to foster a passion for the subject. Students used their imaginations to consider time and space in various situations; they focused on voice work and team building in order to develop skills that will benefit them across all subjects of the curriculum and life beyond school. We would like to thank Cian for his creative, dynamic Drama class and we look forward to working with him again next year.
