The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the lives of everyone, to a greater or lesser extent, in Thailand and worldwide. There have been few times before where the collective help of individuals is needed more. Head Girl, Mickey in Year 13, wanted to play her part to support those who found themselves suffering from the virus, in desperate need or whose family could do with support through times where there seemed to be no light at the end of the tunnel. Thought also turned to those on the frontline; doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff treating the patients. Mickey could see that they too needed support. By coordinating the collection of donations from neighbours, and a baking campaign, she was able to make a positive contribution to local hospitals, and found that her offer of care was as important as the money and gifts she donated.
