Black History Week

As part of our Black History Week activities, Year 6 students have been 'Celebrating Our Sisters' by learning about the life and work of singer, feminist and civil rights activist, Aretha Franklin. The students showed their R.E.S.P.E.C.T. for this amazing Black woman by working together to produce this fantastic portrait of her which they then displayed to the whole school during the morning Flag ceremony.
