The annual British Science Day

For our annual British Science Day, Primary children carried out a host of creative and interesting experiments. Each Year Group completed a different investigation and displayed their findings at the end of the school day, with demonstrations too! These experiments included exploring the differences between fruits and vegetables, making raisins 'dance' using carbon dioxide bubbles, testing the amount of gases released by yeast reactions, exploring changes in states of matter using soap, exploring water transportation in plants using food dye, and testing how waterproof different materials are. The pupils had a wonderful time growing their scientific skills!
