We Are What We Eat -- Year 1

During their last IPC Unit ' We Are What We Eat' the Year 1 children learnt about hunger and poverty and how they can take action themselves to help others in need on a local level. The children were very interested in this and we decided for our Exit Point to launch our own Food Drive, creating a food bank in our classrooms which we donated to the charity 'Bangkok Community Help Foundation'. We were very lucky to be visited by the founders of the charity, Gregg and Friso, who collected our donations and gave a very inspiring talk to the children about helping others in need.
