This term, Year 8 students have been studying Shakespeare’s ‘Julius Caesar’. To conclude their studies, they were asked to create a political campaign for the leader of Ancient Rome. Each group was split into two teams representing the play’s main characters: Antony and Brutus.
Together, each team had to apply their subject vocabulary and their knowledge of rhetoric (pathos, ethos, logos) to create persuasive campaign posters, video, presentation and speech.
After much deliberation from our guest judges, Mr. Luke and Mr. Selwyn, it was Team Brutus who snatched the election.
