Year 8 students visited our sister school; Wat Wang Yai Chim, in Nakhon Nayok Province, sharing resources and skills and helping to strengthen our partnership in joint activities. Working with students in Years 1, 2 and 3, our students took the lead in activities. These included, origami (paper folding to make shapes and animals), making a chocolate sponge cake with buttercream together (very tasty), playing a variety of games and our students also read stories in English and taught English vocabulary.
Then it was the turn of the younger students, who showed our Year 8’s around the small farm and plantation the school runs, and explained about the different plants and crops they grow. This was a very busy day, with Year 8 returning to St. Stephen’s feeling quite tired but immensely rewarded by their day in a very different education setting.
