KS2 Community Service

Students from our KS2 Community Service Club have been working hard on a project this term to support local charities. The students discussed all of the different types of charities that we support, and decided they would like to be involved in a project to support animal shelters. They decided to make some dog toys, and contacted a number of charities to see if they would be interested. We had a great response. They then spent the following weeks collecting resources and making 3 types of dog toys. Finally, they packed the toys up and wrote letters to 5 different shelters. We will be sending them off shortly and hopefully they will arrive at the shelters just in time for the dogs to enjoy at Christmas!
