KS1 Sports Day 2022

On Friday the children from Years 1 and 2 participated in their 2022 Sports Day which was held on the football field. 
They were all very excited to be joined by parents too. The morning revolved around a number of races and skill based activities. Races included sprinting, bean bag balance, space hopper and an egg and spoon race which all focus on balance and coordination. Skill stations involved a basketball push throw, basketball shot, long jump and football penalty kick. 
Apart from being a lot of fun, Sports Day is a great day that allows the children to experience the importance of enjoying themselves while developing their skills. 
It was marvellous to see so many parents join in with the parent child space hopper and egg and spoon relay too.
