Swimming Gala 2022

Our KS2 pupils competed in the 2022 Swimming Gala today, with Years 3 and 4 in the morning and Years 5 and 6 in the afternoon. The Years 3 and 4 children performed both front crawl and backstroke while the Years 5 and 6 children performed front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke. It is very important to learn and develop multiple type of strokes to become an all around swimmer. Both mileposts then competed in a house relay race where the top swimmers were chosen to represent their house. Overall, it was a fun day in the sun with many parents attending to cheer and support the hard work our pupils have achieved this school year. We look forward to many more swim gala's next school year.
