KS2 Sports Day 2022

It was a perfect morning for the KS2 Sports Day, and the children were thrilled to have a very important person join us to officially open the events, helping to mark Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. The children competed in a range of sports skills and activities such as throwing the shot put and target throwing for accuracy; high jump and long jump. Finally, pupils competed in several races based on traditional English Sports Days events, like the egg and spoon race. A number of parents enthusiastically joined in a space hopper race too.  Medals were given to all first, second and third place finishers for each race. It was a wonderful morning for all involved.
