'Fascinating Forces’, Year 5JT

As part of the IPC unit 'Fascinating Forces’, Year 5JT was tasked with designing a parachute for a skydiving company. They had to design and make three parachutes, changing only one variable. The students tested their parachutes by dropping them over the balcony in the shared area and timing how long the parachute took to reach the ground. They recorded the results and had to choose which design was best to submit to the skydiving company, based on the conclusion from their findings.
