For the last four weeks, students in Year 7 have been learning how to make a healthy balanced meal within a set budget (400baht) as a part of their Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) lessons. In today's lesson, students cooked the healthy meals that they had planned and demonstrated how much their meals cost. Here are some of the amazing culinary delights. We say ‘you are what you eat’ and this reflects the fact that if you want to stay fit and healthy, a balanced and varied diet of,(ideally), home-cooked food, is part of a healthy lifestyle. Good health is so important and underpins pretty much everything else that we value in life. Our body is incredibly complex, in fact ‘a miracle of engineering’ and deserves the very best food. Thank you to Year 7 for setting such a good example. Here are examples from Mr. Chris Windeatt’s class.
