Year 9 Geography Deforestation Debate

Year 9 Geography students have been exploring different communities in Brazil, their interactions with each other and the natural environment. To better understand the difficulties of solving global issues, students role played different stakeholders of the Amazon Rainforest at a United Nations conference. Each group discussed the value of the forest and proposed their ideas of how to resolve the issues related to deforestation.
