The house captains organised a drawing challenge as part of our celebration of International Women’s Day on Monday March 8th. Students drew pictures of an inspirational woman from history or their own life. We had many fantastic entries from the world of science, politics, entertainment, sport and education. It was also great to see the children choose inspirational women from their own family. All the pictures were displayed outside Pavillion one.
A special mention must be given to Looknam in Year 13 who painted an incredible painting of Dr. Pierra Vejjabul, who was a pioneer in the field of women's health in Thailand. The beautifully detailed painting will be displayed in the reception area for all at SIS to appreciate.
