World Nursery Rhyme week

Last week the children in KG took part in World Nursery Rhyme week. We focused on 'Incy Wincy Spider', 'Baa Baa Black Sheep', 'Two Little Dickie Birds' and 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat'. The children loved singing the nursery rhymes, learning actions and doing lots of activities relating to them, becoming more familiar with them. Nursery rhymes are a great way of teaching vocabulary, language and literacy skills as well as numeracy, social, physical and emotional skills.
