Christmas Gift Appeal 2017
Last year, St Stephen’s School ran a Christmas Gift Appeal to help support the work of the Gift of Happiness Foundation. We were overwhelmed by the generous gift donated by Staff, Students and Parents leading up to the Christmas Market. These gifts were collected by the Charity Founder, Eddie Haworth, and were taken to an orphanage in Mae Sot and distributed to children from all ages. This community partnership made a huge difference to the lives of some of the poorest children in Thailand.
We will be running the Christmas Gift Appeal again and Year 3 would like to ask for your support in collecting the following items:
Children’s Clothing Old School Uniform Toys Toiletries
(Toiletries can include shampoo, hairbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, toilet roll etc.)
Please ensure items are clean and in suitable condition. No sharp or broken items please.
This year the items do not need to be wrapped. There will bags and boxes clearly labelled by the School Office. Simply drop your items in the correct box. The children from Year 3 will then sort and wrap the items in preparation for collection by the Gift of Happiness team. More information about the charity can be found at http://www.gohappiness.org
We would like to encourage donations until Monday 11th December, 2017
Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
