On Tuesday 7th March, Year 2 were visited by a representative from the People Eye Care Foundation (PECF). This is the Year 2 Community Service Partner. The students watched presentations about the work of the PECF. They learnt about cataracts and participated in practical activities to see how cataracts can affect people's vision. The students then got to meet Nicholas Bear, the Foundation's Mascot. Our students thoroughly enjoyed this event. We were also able to make a donation of 20,000THB to the Foundation from the money we raised at the Walkathon. This will pay for the removal of 4 cataracts and also provide replacement lenses
On Wednesday 8th March, this was followed up by a Sixth Form run workshop for the Year 2 students. They ran activities which enabled the Primary students to empathise with people with visual impairments
