Dear Prospective Applicant
Whether you are new to the international teaching circuit or looking for your next overseas posting, St. Stephen’s, Bangkok, can offer you a fulfilling and professional teaching experience.
The school is led by an internationally experienced senior management team who are able to provide the guidance and professional security for the first-time overseas teacher and career path development for experienced international teachers. Teachers from the UK will immediately feel comfortable with our national curriculum structure with the added bonus of being able to contribute to making it more relevant and appropriate to our context in Thailand.
The school follows the English National Curriculum through the IPC (International Primary Curriculum) and IMYC (International Middle Years Curriculum) which certainly enrich our student provision, and involvement with these curricula will undoubtedly bring clear benefits to committed international school teachers. Older students follow IGCSE and A-Level courses.
Teachers at St. Stephen’s have the opportunity of accessing CPD opportunities in school as well as those provided by the Council of International Schools (www.cois.org) and FOBISIA (www.fobisia.org). Workshops and conferences are held at a range of centres in South East Asia and beyond.
The greatest attraction of all however, at St. Stephen’s is the students, who are a joy to teach. They are all respectful and willing learners who are keen to develop their English skills in anticipation of taking their place in a global society.
St. Stephen’s welcomes applications from native English speaking, qualified, teachers from around the world, whether directly from their home countries or via other international schools.
I hope the information on this website is helpful and I look forward to meeting you in the near future.
Yours sincerely
